The musical inspired by the true story of 8-year-old Virginia O’Hanlon, who wrote a letter to the New York Sun in 1897 to ask about the existence of Santa Claus. The editor’s poignantly-worded response became one of the most famous editorials of all time and served as the inspiration for Macy’s “Believe” campaign.

Back by popular demand! As seen on The Discovery Channel, Keith Michael Johnson enchants audiences of all ages with the art and science of soap bubbles. He builds beautiful sculptural creations (massive and miniature) with enthusiasm, humor and style. You can learn a lot from a bubble!

Roald Dahl's story comes hilariously to life in this delightful dramatization which reveals the wickedness of some, the goodness of others, and the indecision encountered by many, when they are faced with crises. An incredible journey!
April 9, 2016 – Lollipops for Breakfast
Sylvie decides she’s going to have lollipops for breakfast, even if it means making her own perfect lollipop from scratch. She and her trusty pet bird search for missing ingredients, wrestle with giant candy machines, and get lost in a magical pop-up cookbook!
May 7, 2016 – LuckyBob
LuckyBob amazes audiences with his uncanny magic and juggling skills. It’s a roller coaster ride filled with laughs, cheers and smiles! He juggles random objects, reads minds, pulls cards out of the air, and vanishes objects, while interacting with and incorporating children and adults throughout the show.
Before and after performances, families can enjoy drinks and snacks, which will be available for purchase at the theatre’s lobby concession stand.
Family Fun Fest performances will be held at 11:00 am at Ocean State Theatre located at 1245 Jefferson Boulevard, Warwick, RI. Single tickets are $10.00 each with packages of three shows or more for $8.00 per ticket. Discount rates are also available for groups of 20 or more by calling (401) 921-1777 x112. Tickets are on sale at the box office Monday through Friday from 12 noon – 6:00 pm, Saturdays from 12 noon – 4:00 pm, and from 12 noon until curtain time on performance days.
